Chapter Three
When David and I started dating it seems like a dream come true to me, maybe because I have never been in a relationship or maybe because it was with my bestie everything about it seems fun.
David was always pampering like a baby,he would always make sure to check on me everyday and we would play like children. Whenever my parents wasn't home we would gist in my room but when they were around we would stay in the small sitting room cause my dad would not like me being with a guy alone in the room.
It went on like that for months,we just hug each other whenever we see or when he was about to leave in the evening and then this very day when my parents was not home,my elder brother had long gone to school cause he was in the higher institution and my younger sister was in her room.she didn't like the idea that David comes into my room when our parents wasn't around but I managed to always bribe her so she won't tell our parents.
I and David greeted each other with hug as usual before laying down on the bed to gist about things,we talked for hours before i heard my phone ring and then I stood up to pick it.
It was my brother and he just wanted to know how we were faring and I told him we were doing well, after dropping my phone back on the desk i turned to sit back on the bed but then David stood up wrapping his hands around my waist,i felt his palm on my buttocks and he stared straight into my eyes.
I felt shy immediately and was about to ask him what the matter was when he placed his lips on mine kissing me lightly at first....i could not believe this was actually happening in my own room but I realized it was actually happening when he deepened the kiss more with his hands all over my body.
Seriously confused on what to do maybe to stop him or just let this go as far as it can,we were still on the kissing almost out of breath but we were not ready to let go of each other's lips when I suddenly heard a knock on my door....
We had to disengage immediately and went straight to open the door with David at the back of the door,i saw my sister standing and she said,"Aunty Miriam daddy is back i heard his car horning,".....
Immediately after Tolani's sentence i quickly told David to go and wait for me in the sitting room my dad mustn't see him in my bedroom.
After that day, David and I used every opportunity we had when my parents wasn't around... we would stay in my room gisting and when we have nothing more to say we would kiss each other for hours. it went as far as me letting him kiss my collarbone and even my boobs with his hands touching every part of my body.
Our relationship went on this way as we were happy together until this very day David came to tell me that they would be relocating to Abuja,my world came crashing down on me....i asked him what would become of us.
Sitting on his laps i wept like a baby but then he promised to always call to check on me and we could always do video calling so we won't miss seeing each other's face too much,i knew it would never be the same but I had no choice but to let him go since it's not what I can decide on for him...."But then will this relationship ever last long this way".
Although my parents wasn't aware of my relationship with David,all they knew was that were just friends but they were aware of how down i was when he relocated but then they thought maybe because he was the only friend i had.
David and I kept on calling each other everyday and night but still I miss his touch whenever talking to him always wishing he was close by but there was nothing i could do...it went on like this until another unexpected happened.
