Hello everyone.
How has been your day? Well as for me I think I am setting in Calabar just fine. I am doing my best to embrace the change even when it seems like everyone around me
I woke up this morning feeling very refreshed though I almost didn't want to get up from bed. It rained all through the night and the weather was so cool. Thanks be to God that I didn't have anywhere to go to in the morning else I would have run late.
I did some chores and I had breakfast at about 10:00am. A small boy in the house whose name is Xavier; he is the grandson to the owner of the house where I am staying presently, he brought me his homework to put him through it and guess what it was mathematics and I am not a fan of mathematics at all but I had no choice I quickly went through the examples they gave in the textbook and I was able to put him through though it took some time because I had to solve it carefully. And just when we were almost through, I went to my room to pick up something only for xavier to call after me and tell me that we have been doing the wrong exercise and that he just saw the correct exercise we are to do. But trust me na I cannot come and stress my brain again so I just told him that I was done with him, may be tomorrow I will change my mind.
Later in the afternoon I had my bath and I went out to get some things I needed. After buying the things I saw a place where they sell roasted chicken and plantain though I was a bit skeptical about it but I decided to give it a try. As soon as I got home, I quietly entered into my room and settled down to the eat the food I bought and o my God it was so delicious that I didn't want it to finish.
And even as I type this post now, it has started raining again. I am sure this night's sleep will be heaven on earth.
