What is fairness?

Do you know that feeling when you pour your heart and soul into something, and it is just completely overlooked? This can happen in every aspect of life, and steemit is certainly no exception. Sometimes it feels like you make the worlds best blog post, and then it doesn't receive a single view. It can be hard to foresee what will be popular. Some times your great work goes unseen, while an uninspired post gains a ton of traffic due to bots.

It can feel like you're a monkey being given a cucumber, when all you want in the world is a grape.

The same can be said for cryptocurrencies. I am invested in a number of different alt coins, all of which are down by a lot today. Meanwhile, bitcoin has sky rocketed even further.
Can that feel unfair? Sure, but....

It really isn't all that bad

I realize that a lot of the stuff i am writing about on my blog is kinda odd. Or in reality, very weird. It is certainly a niche area but it is an area that is of big interest to me. And that is what is important. I might not gain any votes for now (although my first post went really well), but i believe they will come with hard work.

As the sites matures, more and more eyes will come to steemit. And suddenly the audience that fits my niche area of writing will have appeared.

What am i even talking about

What i mean to say is, if your posts are doing poorly, don't worry. You are an early adopter, and steemit will be huge in the future (I believe so at least). Use the fact that you are an early adopter and become established on the site, make it grow, and spread the word. It can seem unfair to have your work disapear in a sea of blog posts,

We all want steemit to succeed, so let's all work towards that :)

discalimer: I do not own the youtube video, i only really love the youtube video. So please give it some love and an upvote. Or maybe go tell them to join dtube, so they can be properly rewarded ;)

Have a lovely day people!
