A new year has arrived,
Bringing with it hope and light,
Leaving behind the old and tired,
It's a time to start anew, to set things right.
The clock strikes twelve,
The fireworks start to ignite,
We cheer and we celebrate,
As the new year arrives tonight.
We make resolutions,
To be better and do more,
To leave the past behind us,
And open the door to something new and sure.
So let's raise a glass,
To the start of a brand new year,
May it be filled with joy and love,
And bring us all good cheer.
