This viral sensation has taken social media by storm, and for a good reason! Baked Feta Pasta combines the creamy richness of feta cheese with the vibrant flavors of cherry tomatoes, garlic, and fresh basil for a simple yet irresistible dish. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion!

Ingredients

🍝 1 pound of pasta
🧀 2 blocks of feta cheese
🍅 Cherry tomatoes (as needed)
🌿 Fresh basil (to garnish)
🧄 10 cloves of garlic
🫒 1/2 cup of olive oil
🌿 1 tablespoon of oregano
🌶️ 1 tablespoon of crushed red peppers (or to taste)
🧂 Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

1- Prep Work:

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Peel and slightly crush the garlic cloves.

2- Assemble the Dish:

  • In a large baking dish, place a generous amount of cherry tomatoes and the 10 garlic cloves.
  • Sprinkle oregano, crushed red peppers, salt, and pepper over the tomatoes and garlic.
  • Drizzle half of the olive oil and mix everything together in the dish to coat the ingredients evenly.

3- Add the Feta:

  • Place the two blocks of feta cheese in the center of the baking dish, surrounded by the tomatoes and garlic.
  • Drizzle the remaining olive oil over the feta cheese.
  • Sprinkle a bit more oregano and crushed red peppers on top.

4- Baking:

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the tomatoes have burst and the feta is soft and golden on top.

5- Cook the Pasta:

  • While the feta and tomatoes are baking, cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

6- Combine Everything:

  • Remove the baking dish from the oven. Use a spoon or spatula to crush the roasted tomatoes and garlic, mixing them with the melted feta to create a creamy sauce.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the baking dish and toss everything together until the pasta is well-coated with the sauce.
  • Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
