1Kings 18:45-46; And it came to pass in the meanwhile, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode and went to Jezreel. And the hand of the Lord was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.
At the time of Elijah, in the land of Israel, the chariots of Ahab were the fasted and the absolute best nonetheless when the Spirit of the Lord came upon Elijah he was able to surpass it in terms of speed to take the lead. This tells us that with God one gains an advantage in life, when the Spirit of God comes upon you, you are capable of unimaginable unfathomable things that science may not even be able to explain. The hand of God gives you a greater competitive edge, it makes you better and greater and multiplies the small effort you put into doing something into a great power.
With God all things are possible and with the Spirit and hand of God on you, you do not struggle to accomplish or achieve a task, things become easier for you as a Christian and you are able to over hurdle and obstacles easily. God has promised to level mountains and hills before us and create path in directions where there are none. All we need is to continually have faith in him that we may receive the Holy Spirit and Anointing on our lives. May the Grace and favor of God locate us today even as we endeavor to be the very best Christians we can be.
