Thursday it is!
Today I want to start off by throwing it back to this amazing trip to the Maasai Mara last December holiday. It was fantastic and I am very eager for the day I will re-take it. It almost felt like being in durastic world of some sort, well, at least the African version for sure.
On this trip we really enjoyed viewing a lot of wildlife, some of which I hadn't experienced in the city. There's just something about seeing wildlife in their natural habitat. You can learn a lot from just observing animals.
Of course among the animals we cames across were lions, rhinos, hippos, zebras, elephants, gazelles, leopards, cheetahs etc... Basically I saw all the African big 5! They were magnificent!
This next photo (the stone) is the boarder between Kenya & Tanzania. It is what separates Maasai Mara in Kenya and the Serengeti in Tanzania. Of course in essence it is the same thing, just different names in different countries. Still, very fascinating to have experienced it I guess we could say I am among the few people who have been in 2 countries at the same damn time :D
Lastly, if you did not take a photo, did it even happen? :D
I had to! Now I can say I understand why they say we should invest in experiences other than in material things. Memories are forever, material stuff isn't. So I say, invest your money wisely.
