Splinterlands Weekly Battle Challenge - Disintegrator The Demoraliser!

Welcome to another Splinterlands Weekly Battle Challenge. Here is the original post if you want to enter a battle yourselves.
This week we are featuring a common neutral monster called Disintegrator. This is a card that i do not normally use very much due to the low stats but the Demoralize ability can be used to best effect in certain rule sets such as Melee Mayhem or Up Close and Personal where you can be sure your opponent will use all or mostly Melee monsters!
Splinterlore
The crazed tinker, Morloth, created the Disintegrator within his lair in the Badlands. Assembling various parts of other creatures together, he spent an age designing and building his masterpiece. The only problem was bringing it to life. He tried taking the fierce lightning from the sky and filling the monstrous body with raw energy but that didnโt work and only damaged its limbs. He experimented with molten power from within the ground but that only burnt away its flesh and hide. It wasnโt until he had a visit from a cloaked agent of chaos and was gifted the answer to his problems that the engine burst into life.

Element: Life
Attack: Melee
Abilities: Demoralise at Level 1, Trample at Level 5, Knock Out at level 8 and Retaliate at Level 10.

-1 to melee attack, it cannot be less than 1
As a mentioned already this is a great ability to use when you know your opponent will use a lot of melee cards and can give you a great advantage on the battlefield.
This is a great ability to watch in action.
Never paid much attention to this ability to be honest.
50% chance of activation. Possibility of chain
This is a great ability i get to use to great effect with the Nectar Queen card.
Let's take a closer look at the stats.
I think it would be so much better if it gained Retaliate much earlier than level 10. I do not have the funds or time to invest in obtaining 400 of these lol.
Battle Info
This is a 58 mana level battle with all Splinters allowed except Death + Fire.
I have 6 cards in this battle against 6!
Life vs Death
Ruleset = Equal Opportunity + Spreading Fury
Monsters with the Opportunity ability may attack from any position and will target the enemy Monster with the lowest health.
Increase Melee attack and Speed when damaged. Values are multiplied by 1.5 and rounded up.
Battle Line Up
This is a great Dragon summoner which grants +1 magic to all friendly monsters.
Dragon summoners are very special as they let you combine cards from another splinter in battle which can be extremely helpful when building your team.
I am all about the Dragon Splinter and Magic these days!
This is currently my favorite tank monster as it has some massive stats like 5 hitpoints and 9 Health!!!
When you combine this with the heal + Thorns abilities he becomes an unstoppable wet spiky killing machine.
This is one of my all time favorite monsters partly because i love Dragons but also because of his massive stat which make him very hard to destroys and of course the Blast ability at level 2!
He will also gain a +1 Magic attack from the summoner giving him a massive 4 hitpoints making him very dangerous.
This amazing monster is here to provide double magic attack with the Blast ability!
He will also give a speed buff to all my team which always helps.
The mighty Djinn is in the back to provide more magic attack and with his massive health stats he is also very hard to kill and when you combine this with his massive Speed stats which will be boosted by Ruler of the Seas to 6 you have a monster who is very hard to hit.
The equal Opportunity ruleset means i can play this monster in any position so i squeezed him in here for his Demoralise ability mainly.
This is easily my favourite Common card as it has stats that can rival some epic cards!!
With his massive stats and the Opportunity ability he will pick of the weakest of the enemy from the back.
Battle Walkthrough
As the warriors enter the arena we can see my opponent has some great monsters in his line up but they are no match for Chaos Dragon and Ruler of The Seas.
The battle has begun and we see our first death pretty quickly when the enemies Magi of Chaos monster is destroyed afetr taking hits from both Djinn Oshannus and Ruler Of The Seas!
We are off to a good start.
Sadly my Ruler of the Seas monster is then killed by the enemies Deeplurker monster!
So round 2 begins badly with the enemies Djinn Oshannus wiping out Disintegrator!
Sadly my tank monster is then killed after taking several hits from 3 enemy monsters but he managed to do some damage back with the spiky Thorns ability even killing one of the attackers in the process..
Djinn Oshannus and Chaos Dragon make quick work of destroying the enemies tank monster Diemonshark!
Round 2 ends well with Deeplurker wiping out my opponents same monster!
My victory is assured at this point :)
In round 4 we see Djinn Oshannus taking out his double and the battle is over when Nerissa Tridawn is killed by Chaos Dragon
Its carnage on the battlefield!
I did enjoy this battle but i would not use this card in a similar line up again as i would have won this battle either way and it was Chaos Dragon and Ruler of the Seas who really won the battle today!
