We should always guard our faith
And also keep our conscience void of offense towards God and man.
Romans 2:15 (KJV) Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another
The commandments of God is always in our hearts due to our Good conscience.
We should keep our conscience alongside our faith because if our conscience is corrupt,we will be accustomed to doing evil.
Our conscience can be corrupted by the devil and by eating food sacrificed to idols.
1 Corinthians 8:7 (KJV) Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.
We should be watchful and vigilant because we have an enemy, the devil.
1 Peter 5:8 (KJV) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
We should also be in awareness that the devil can pretend or camouflage as an angel of light, therefore we need to be on guard and be vigilant.
Matthew 6:23 (KJV) But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
Even Eve's conscience was corrected by the devil because he came as an angel of light
Satan can corrupt our conscience and our mind if we are not watchful or vigilant.
God always reminds us of His commandments through His Holy spirit.
John 14:26 (KJV) But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
We should always be united at heart in the body of God and avoid things that will cause division.
