At the weekend it was my village fete. It was held on the Allendale Park and Sports Ground that is directly across from where I live.

Lots of vintage cars were on show. I think a lot of these guys are doing the rounds as I saw some at a previous local show.

The 'Lane End Farm Trust' brought a few of their animals, although their donkey was a bit camera shy. Some humans I've met can also kick and bite ....

I met the popular acoustic 'Grumpah' band. They only had three members, but they certainly knew how to blast a tune out!

I then met the 'Mental Health Motorbike' charity that offers free face to face and online mental health support to the biker community in the UK.

The fire service were also in attendance, but thankfully, they didn't have to put out any fires.

In the main arena, the 'Holymoorside Brass Band' played throughout the day. The band actually go back to the 1860s, so you could say they are very well established!

It was a good afternoon, and the sun was out. Even the visiting dogs made sure they had their sun hats on. In fact, this pooch rocked a hat much better than I ever could.
