I went for a walk around Elvaston Castle which is a stately home in Derbyshire, UK. It is in a gothic design with surrounding parkland covering over 300 acres including the gardens, lake and wooded area.
It is a good day out in lovely surroundings, especially going around the lake to feed the birds.
The gardens are really well looked after. Lots of different shapes and well maintained topiary. An interesting visit.
