We went for a walk to an area called the "Stitches". I've no idea why but it belongs to the Forestry Commission.
We came across quite a large tree that had fallen. There was hardly any roots on it at all.
At least one of the dogs likes to look over the walls. The grass isn't always greener on the otherside!
You've got to love that solitary tree. I usually wear fingerless gloves so I can take photos easily. It was so cold my fingers nearly dropped off. The wind was so biting.
We only did one circuit of the field. Sometimes it's that cold it's not as enjoyable. I think even the dogs were glad to get back into the car. I know I was.
