It was a lot milder today and the sun was out, so we had our permitted, daily walk through the forest. We met a couple of alpacas and some geese to start off with. They wouldn't look at me. They were more interested in looking at the dogs in my car.

It was still a bit misty amongst the trees, but we had a more pleasant walking experience today, 0as it wasn't as cold.

My friend's dogs do like to look over the wall. There wasn't a lot to see as it was quite misty across the fields.

The tree roots have spread right across the footpath. These are lethal when it's icy as you skid on them. I've learnt to avoid them at all costs!

I've never walked through this area in the summer. It had a touch of Spring about it today. I'm really looking forward to seeing it when everything springs to life and you can see it in all of its glory.
