I met my brother for an early morning walk in the wood. The mist was still lingering, so great for taking photos. Again, we came across random stone walls covered in moss. The green really stood out in the murky atmosphere.

It was so peaceful in there. You could hear a pin drop. We only saw the odd dog walker. It's nice to get away from your own village where you can bump into everyone.

I really like strange things especially if they're old. I found this padlock in the wood attached to a metal spike. Not sure what it was used for. It's not that old but I still found it interesting, so it's now in my garden!

The spagnum moss on the ground created this lovely, spongey feeling. I'm sure there's more to investigate so I will be returning for another look.
