We called in at Graves Park Animal Farm in Sheffield. It's mostly for children but adults are welcome. All the animals are well looked after and they seem to enjoy human visitors. In fact, they insist you say hello!

It is situated in a very large park, and is completely free, which is a rarety these days.

It's not very big but still worth a visit to see the guinea pigs, goats, llamas, horses and more.

The guinea pigs have got their own little houses.

As soon as you walk past, the goats come and check you out. They are quite inquisitive and don't like missing anything.

Goats like to be high up. It makes them feel safe from predators. They are obviously safe at the farm but it is just a natural instinct.

The horse was having a shower. It was a warm day so I'm sure it appreciated it.

The llamas just wanted food! You can buy a pack of food for £1 and feed all the animals.

It was good to see all of the animals in good condition and well cared for. They definitely seem to enjoy human contact .... even if it was just to check if you'd got any food!
