Hello friends and family.
It has been a long time since we last traveled, first because of the pandemic and secondly because of the economic factor that I am sure many of us have been affected in our country.
August and September have always been months to visit family and friends. We have had this arrangement for a long time, we are a married couple that likes order, we strive to have our routine, a schedule and plans for the year. Although we have not been able to travel to as many places as we would like, we make the effort to free ourselves a little from the routine and work, and visit my family, as they live a little far from the area where we live, they are always the option in these months.
But this year we received an invitation to visit a neighboring site, “San Antonio de Capayacuar”, I liked the site, it has beautiful landscapes, a varied climate, amazing river crossings, with cold, hot and very cool temperatures. As well as meeting great people who became part of our circle of friends.
Hola amigos y familia.
Desde hace mucho tiempo que no viajábamos, primero por la pandemia y segundo por el factor económico que estoy segura muchos al igual que a nosotros nos ha afectado en nuestro país.
El mes de agosto y septiembre, siempre han sido meses para visitar a la familia y los amigos. Este arreglo lo hemos tenido desde que nos casamos, somos un matrimonio que nos gusta el orden, nos esforzamos por tener nuestra rutina, un horario y planes en el año. Aunque no hemos podido viajar a tantos lugares como nos gustaría, hacemos el esfuerzo por liberarnos un poco de la rutina y el trabajo, y visitar a mi familia, como ellos viven un poco lejos de la zona donde vivimos, siempre ellos son la opción en estos meses.
Pero este año recibimos una invitación para conocer un sitio vecino, “San Antonio de capayacuar”, me gusto el sitio, tiene bonitos paisajes, un clima variado, sorprendentes pasos de ríos, con temperaturas frías, calientes y muy frescas. Así como conocer a grandes personas que llegaron a formar parte de nuestro círculo de amistades.
Well this year we decided to go to visit my sisters in Ciudad Bolivar, and before that to visit my parents, then we got this invitation to this neighboring area, I know it will be a long vacation, but long awaited, and we needed to get out and change the environment and most importantly share with friends and family.
Bueno este año decidimos ir a visitar a mis hermanas en ciudad bolívar,y antes visitar a mis padres,luego nos llego esta invitación a esta zona vecina, se que serán unas vacaciones largas, pero muy esperadas, ya nos hacía falta salir y cambiar de ambiente y lo mas importante compartir con los amigos y la familia
In this beautiful place we met new friends who gave us their hospitality and affection, from the first moment we arrived, they like us needed that human warmth so important, to meet all together, share, laugh, play, eat. We did many nice things in this place, from the most relevant to the simplest, I enjoyed it very much, it was a week of a lot of activity.
The only drawback of this site, was the internet signal, it was very slow and did not allow me to write and publish that week, but I took the opportunity to take pictures and create beautiful memories and share them with you today. And so I will continue the rest of the trip, I will take advantage of the areas of good Internet to share with you part of my journey. Today I am already at my parents' house, enjoying them, I will tell you about it later.
Comienzan mis vacaciones esperadas En este hermoso lugar conocimos a nuevos amigos que nos brindaron su hospitalidad y cariño, desde el primer momento en que llegamos, ellos al igual que nosotros necesitábamos de ese calor humano tan importante, reunirnos todos juntos, compartir, reír, jugar, comer. Hicimos muchas cosas lindas en este sitio, desde lo más relevante, hasta lo más simple, lo disfruté muchísimo, fue una semana de mucha actividad.
El único inconveniente de este sitio, fue la señal de Internet, era muy lenta y no me permitió escribir y publicar esa semana, pero aproveché de tomar fotos y crear bellos recuerdos y compartirlos hoy con ustedes. Y así seguiré el resto del viaje, aprovecharé las zonas de buen Internet para ir compartiendo con ustedes parte de mi viaje transitado y esperado. Hoy ya estoy en casa de mis padres, disfrutándolos, luego les hablaré de eso.
Something that caught my attention in this neighboring area were the rivers. The local friends told us that its color comes from a mineral, many scientists have gone to investigate this river, they say, and have proven that it is so. In fact this water is what the town consumes.
To me, sincerely, this river transmitted me a lot of fear, but I was impressed by its color. They say that in a place up in the mountains, you can see the meeting of two rivers, one as black as oil and the other clear. Once they come together, they create this color, and that is where the name "Rio Colorado" comes from.
Yes, I would like to go and see the meeting of these two rivers. But it has to be in summer because in this month it still rains and something very particular of these rivers and that makes it dangerous in these times, is that they grow silently. Even so, we enjoyed bathing with friends in this river, I was a little nervous, but I did not miss the opportunity to feel its strength and its cool temperature, very pleasant.

Algo que llamo mi atención de esta zona vecina, fueron los ríos. Los amigos del lugar nos comentaron que su color procede de un mineral, muchos científicos han ido a investigar este rio dicen ellos, y han comprobado que es así. De hecho esa agua es la que consume el pueblo.
A mí, sinceramente, este río me trasmitió mucho temor, pero me impresionaba su color. Ellos comentan que en un lugar arriba en las montañas, se puede ver el encuentro de dos ríos, uno negro como petróleo y otro claro. Una vez que se unen, crean este color, y de allí procede su nombre: “Río colorado”.
Sí, me gustaría ir y ver ese encuentro de esos dos ríos. Pero tiene que ser en verano porque en este mes aún llueve y algo muy particular de estos ríos y que lo hacen peligroso en estos tiempos, es que crecen de forma silenciosa. Aun así, disfrutamos de bañarnos con los amigos en este río, yo un poco nerviosa, pero no perdí la oportunidad de sentir su fuerza y su temperatura fresca, muy agradable
On this trip I was very pleased with the joyful atmosphere we enjoyed with friends in the area. Every afternoon-evening we met to play and have some fun, we did not miss the famous card game called: "Uno".
As well as other very funny games that we were taught by friends in the area, to tell you one so you can laugh a lot, you have to do it in a group, if it is big it is much more fun.
The game consists of saying in this sentence: "Friends, do you know who died, and the other person who is next to you answers you and says "not who", and you say: "juan, charrazquiao, if you don't believe me, ask the person next to you".
But what makes this game fun is that you have to do it with your lips facing inwards, just the fact of trying it and seeing the other person's face and the grimaces they make with their face, is enough to make you laugh non-stop.
Laughing is very healthy, it fills you with energy, it makes you happy, and you forget for a moment about the negative things that may be happening around you.
The pandemic affected our lives on a large scale, and reaching normality will not be easy, it will depend largely on us, with much or little, we can feel a certain degree of happiness in our lives and with the help of God, family and good friends, we will reach it.

Momentos con los amigos En este viaje me agrado mucho el ambiente de alegría del que disfrutamos con los amigos de la zona. Todas las tardes-noches nos reunimos para jugar y divertirnos un poco, no falto el famoso juego de cartas llamado: “Uno”.
Así como otros juegos muy graciosos que nos enseñaron los amigos de la zona, por contarles uno para que se rían bastante, lo tienen que hacer en grupo, si es grande es mucho más divertido.
El juego consiste en decir en esta frase: “Amigos, ¿sabes quien se murió?, y la otra persona que está de tu lado te responde y dice ¿no quien?, Y tú le dices: juan, charrazquiao, si no me crees, pregúntale al que está al lado”.
Pero lo que hace divertido este juego, es que tienen que hacerlo con los labios hacia dentro, el solo hecho de intentarlo y verle la cara a los demás y las muecas que hacen con la cara, es para reírte sin parar.
Reírte es muy saludable, te llena de energía, te hace feliz, y te olvidas por un momento de las cosas negativas que puedan estar pasando a tu alrededor.
La pandemia afectó a gran escala nuestras vidas, y alcanzar la normalidad, no será fácil, dependerá en buena medida de nosotros, con mucho o con poco, podemos sentir cierto grado de felicidad en nuestras vidas y con la ayuda de Dios, la familia y los buenos amigos, lo iremos alcanzando.
