Musical instruments made from recycled materials [ENG-ESP]

At the clinic where my young children see therapy, every two months they do a special activity, this month it is about musical instruments. This is a nice topic, since I love music and I think it is important in the development of children to encourage them to learn to play an instrument.

Singulare asks parents to join in with their children so that together they can make something related to the theme. In this case we had to make musical instruments out of recycled materials and also teach the children how to play them and a song for them to practice with their therapist. So it's a team effort.

In my case, I had to make the instruments, it was easy for me to decide Joaquin's, a drum 🥁, he likes them and he also likes the Plim Plim Clown Song called "El Tambor de Bam", so everything was perfect and planned on that side. In Amelie's case I thought about it a lot, first I thought about a tambourine, but I didn't get the bottle caps, then a guitar 🎸 but Amelie wouldn't play it. Then it occurred to me to make some maracas 🪇 since Amelie shakes her little hands a lot and she could do it, to the song "Aran Sam Sam".

My husband helped by collecting the cardboard boxes and corrugated cardboard from the spare parts that come to the grinder. I had some cardboard tubes of those absorbent papers they sell and I also used liquid silicone, scissors, a marking pen, some recycled fabric for the drum called Cambrela, cardboard and tape.

And that's how my little ones already have their beautiful recycled musical instruments ready for the activity that will be next week, but from tomorrow they start rehearsals with the therapists and delivery of instruments. So I didn't want to leave everything to the last minute and got down to work. Definitely being a mom is also to know about crafts and very creative to be able to fulfill the activities of our little ones.

En la clínica donde ven terapia mis niños pequeños, cada dos meses hacen una actividad especial, este mes toca sobre los instrumentos musicales. Este es un lindo tema, ya que en lo particular amo la música y creo que es importante en el desarrollo de los niños fomentar a aprender a tocar algún instrumento.

Singulare pide que los padres se sumen junto a sus pequeños para que juntos hagan algo referente al tema. En este caso nos tocó hacer instrumentos musicales de materiales reciclados y además enseñarle a los niños a tocarlos y una canción para que la practiquen con su terapeuta. Así que es un trabajo en equipo.

En mi caso, tuve que hacer los instrumentos, me fue fácil decidir el de Joaquín, un tambor 🥁, a él le gustan y además le gusta la Canción del payaso Plim Plim llamada "El Tambor de Bam", así que todo estaba perfecto y planeado por ese lado. En el caso de Amelie lo pensé mucho, primero pensé en un pandero, pero no conseguí las chapas de botellas, luego en una guitarra 🎸 pero Amelie no la tocaría. Entonces se me ocurrió hacer unas maracas 🪇 ya que Amelie agita mucho sus manitas y ella podría hacerlo, con la canción "Aran Sam Sam".

Mi esposo ayudó recolectando las cajas de cartón y el cartón corrugado de los repuestos que llegan a la rectificadora. Yo tenía unos tubos de cartón de esos papeles absorbentes que venden y además utilicé silicón líquido, tijera, bolígrafo para marcar, un poco de tela reciclada para el tambor llamada Cambrela, cartulina y cinta.

Y así es como mis pequeños ya tienen sus instrumentos musicales reciclados lindos y listo para la actividad que será la próxima semana, pero desde mañana empiezan los ensayos con las terapeutas y entregas de instrumentos. Así que no quise dejar todo para última hora y puse manos a la obra. Definitivamente ser mamá también es saber de manualidades y muy creativa para poder cumplir con las actividades de nuestros pequeños.
