Man!- It’s Hot Out! 😅🫠…… My Actifit Report Card: July 21 2026

My day began at ladies Bible study. It was already pushing 70 degrees just before 10:00 AM with lots of humidity! Thank goodness the church is air conditioned! 😅

Afterwards, a quick stop at the post office (it was 85 then) and I headed for home. Thank goodness @silvertop already had the air on. I do not do well with heat and humidity. As you can see from the first picture, they were calling for a high of 93. Not so!

We decided since it was too hot and too smoky from the wildfires to do much of anything, a frozen coffee drink was the order for the day! Off to get one! A different Woods coffeehouse with a chandelier I’d like to have!

Someday……

Well believe it or not, at that point @silvertop was cold! What?! He suggested a stop at Lynden City Park! 😅🫠 Despite the heat, lots of people were there. We took a short hike. This crow was perched high up in a dead tree watching (laughing I’m sure) at those people (us) crazy enough to be out walking on black asphalt!

Shortly after that, we turned around to get back to the car at which point, he complained it was too hot. Hmmmmm…..too cold; too hot. …..this was reminding me of Goldie Locks and the 3 Bears, lol! Never mind I’m the one dressed in long jeans and had no water handy for a walk!

We headed back to the car at which point we’d both melted! It was now 95 degrees! 🥵

I then drove to the green Barn- a local produce store with locally processed chicken that is very tasty. I purchased 3 packages and some produce at an extremely reasonable rate! I’m always happy with their products!

Once the sun goes down, I think I’ll go out as our blackberries are ripening as well and I have a hankering for some!
