Happy Sunday 😇…………My Actifit Report Card: November 9 2025
Our morning began at church with awesome worship and an awesome sermon on the Holy Spirit.
Once home, I went out to the road with a shovel to remove 3 of my 6 pumpkins that had rotted to the point you couldn’t pick them up! 🙀
Normally, they don’t get to this state until close to mid December. Something’s different this year. One of my remaining 3 is beginning to go, but I’ve left it for now as it’s mostly okay. 🎃
We then headed out for a hike. Destination: the logged area and specifically, the fire pile.
It was pretty much reduced to a pile of ashes, however there are probably close to a dozen more piles of debris they will set on fire before they’re done! I was able to zoom in on a pocket of actively burning tree stump with flames. 🔥 You might not be able to see those flames in the picture, but you can sure see the red glowing hot embers fueling it!
It also appears that it might be spreading underground as about 20’ or so away from the pile is a plum of rising smoke in an area untouched by flame!
There are so many piles to be burned!
So yesterday at our hike in Lynden, I took this picture of the mountains to the north in Canada.
The sun was shining on them accentuating the snow.
Today, high up on a ridge in the logging area, I took the same photo, sort of. The sun was NOT shining and I’m at a little different angle than yesterday, but essentially it’s the same photograph-just a wider angle.
This next one is looking a little further northeast. The red in the photograph are blueberry bushes here in Washington.
