I had a productive day at work. It was quiet and enabled me to get a lot of stuff done.
Once at home, I relaxed with a coffee. There was going to be no hike today as I had 7 pounds of coffee to roast. Three are headed to Portland, Oregon and 4 to Rhode Island.
The next photo shows her up on top the toaster as the coffee begins its cycle.
Our roasters are fluid bed, meaning hot air makes the beans rotate and swirl on hot air forced by a heavy duty fan.
It’s a pretty cool process. The smell is from heaven and the finished product.....well there is none better!
All of my steps were from moving around at work, the house roasting coffee and pacing.
