Hey everybody and thanks for stopping by!
Sunday means church, and in this instance, we were leading the worship. Although our usual order of things was a bit different, it worked well. The music went well and the sermon was good. 😇
It was an extremely grey day here but without rain. It kind of settled on you and made me feel just a little sad.
We watched some TV which is usually an evening thing, but we were both tired. After that, we did a bit of blogging and then headed out for a hike. I took an umbrella just in case.....
The leaves are really starting to fall and the trails are scattered with varying shades of yellow and burnt umber. Really quite startling when compared to the evergreen of the firs and cedars surrounding the area.
Jan did not come today as they follow a friend’s daughter in the sport she plays. There was supposed to be a game this afternoon, so that was her afternoon plans. 😎
We headed on back down the trail and off to the side is this grouping of what I call the ‘cheeseburger’ mushrooms. Their top sort of resemble a glistening burger bun top. I’ve taken pics of this before, but now they’ve been joined by some other variety of smaller ‘shrooms.
A nice day! A bit of dinner and a spot more of tv; some blogging and it will be time to call it a night!
