TGIF!!🎉 Yes, I know everybody says that, but I really mean it! The day at work today was ok in the morning as we had a few appointments, but then the doc had to leave to go set up music for a wedding tonight, so that left me alone. It was slow! I couldn’t wait for 4 pm! This week is done and fir the morning, I am planning on sleeping in!😴
I ran a couple of errands and headed home. Coffee was my next thing to do, so I made an Irish cream mocha and sat down to enjoy it.
We then got ready to go for a hike. We met Jan out at the end of the driveway and headed up. We stopped at the bench just as you descend into Bear Hollow. 
Anyone notice anything?
We continued on just a bit as daylight was still hanging in there. We went to the trailhead juncture of the end of Bear Hollow and Towhee Ridge and turned around.
I found some Oregon Grape with beautiful color! The irony of this is that it’s not because of fall. It’s got to do with the age of the plant. I’ve seen this occur in mid winter. Interesting 🤔
On the way down near an old cedar stump with a hemlock growing out of it, I found this nice little puffball.
Just after I had taken a shower, I got a text from the doc that the fire alarm was going off at the clinic. So we headed down to check it out. All was well; we went in every room and checked the upstairs as well-nothing! Which is good! 😁
Well, I think that’s gonna do her for tonight. I am tired! Keep on
