Thursday’s can be a bit boring at times and today was a combination of boring and not boring. An oxymoron! Anyway I sold some glasses, suspected a long time customer of stealing but have no proof unless our recorder caught her, and helped an elderly gentleman get a new frame to put his lenses in because his frame broke.
When I got home, my neighbor who has had what seems like tragedy and health crises occur called me. She was finally home! Yippee! We have missed Barb so much and worried about her during the past 5 months she’s been dealing with the health issues.
This is Barb relaxing at home tonight as we brought her about 40 pounds of cat food for her kitties.
We headed up after visiting for a few minutes ( social distancing of course!) and made it about halfway to the off grid cabin before turning back towards home. There was a hiccup with our solar controllers today and 
After dinner, he headed to work on that and I sat for a bit for some leisure reading. I don’t read nearly as much as I’d like to.
Just as we got back from our hike, Actifit-Lamb was clamoring to go see the poppies we planted.
I then realized that my irises were in full bloom.
These guys came with the house when we bought it 20 years ago, and have faithfully bloomed year after year. They are beautiful!
