The day started out with it being cloudy and cool. It was gardening day as we needed to raise the structure supporting the plastic of our makeshift greenhouse. Since we don’t have a true garden, we are container gardening this year. The weather at times can be very hot, but it’s generally too cool for tomatoes without helping them along. So after getting that done, we headed out to plant the poppies we had purchased on our last shopping expedition. We had to cut out a maple tree sapling that had grown out of a tree we cut down some years ago first, but then set to work on the poppies.
I then moved on to planting the cascading petunias I had purchased along with some trailing vinca in a couple of pots and placed them at each post on either side of our front door. I had one petunia left, so it went into a hanging planter. Then it was time for THE BONFIRE! As we chatted with our silvergoldstackers community on discord, the flames began!
I know what you’re thinking.... kinda small. Well.......
That’s much better!!😁
Actifit-Lamb had never been to a bonfire before, so she was eager to get into the action! Here she is enjoying the fire from a toasty but safe distance.
As the fire burned down, I got the sausages filled with cheddar cheese ready and we cooked them over the bed of coals. It was a very nice and relaxing day.
It’s soon time for bed so that’s gonna be it for now. Keep on @actifit steppin’! Take care all! 🥰👣🤗☕️😎💪🐑🔥😴
