Sunday morning means virtual church so we got up and got our coffees prepped and waited for the service to begin. The sermon was good and the virtual hugs good but not as good as real ones, which we wouldn’t have done anyway right now. 😏
I called to check on our son this morning as well and the only change was that his fever broke, which is great. Everything else is the same. He still sounds really sick. We are awaiting test results.
We set out for our hike after a bit of internet surfing. They day was mostly grey as it had rained earlier in the morning. It was also just a bit cooler than it’s been being.
The area we hike is beautiful and whereas I appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds us, I am becoming a bit fatigued in trying to find something new to photograph. Maybe it’s just my mood.
Actifit-Lamb saw the perfect little hollowed out tree stump to sit on. I told her it kind of looks like an outhouse toilet. She said ‘nonsense!’ And sat there anyway, lol!
As we descended, we were about 15 minutes from home when our son called. I had tried to call from the trail but got no answer. I was checking on him because I have what I call ‘ mother’s rights’. He was the same as the morning. Again, we are hoping for faster results than Tuesday.
We watched a spot of TV as I worked on beans and rice for dinner. A simple, but filling meal. Soon, I am hoping to turn in as I am tired. ( actually, I’m tired of being tired! Know of any cures?)
