He is risen! He is risen, indeed! Happy Easter everybody!
Today dawned sunny and beautiful! However, it wasn’t the Easter Sunday we are used to. No sunrise service and no service ‘live’ either. We had a virtual Sunday service, but I do miss the formal gathering of going to church. However, this is how it needs to be for now.
After church, we worked on the computer for a bit and then got out the guitar and keyboard to do a little ‘live’ worship of our own. It was good to do that 😇🎶🎵
It was getting into late afternoon, so we headed out for a hike. It was warm, but not too warm; great weather for hiking!
Along Buck Horn Ridge, a new bench has been installed by the land owner. Actifit-Lamb needed a breather, so we stopped.

She says it’s always good to take a break and refresh yourself along the trail. It will give you more endurance. How did she get to be so smart?!
So we continued on and on the last portion coming back up Bear Hollow, I spied a new growth of a giant fern we have in this area. I’ve forgotten the name for it, but at it’s full height, it reaches four to five feet and the leaves can span one to two feet across. Quite amazing! This little guy was about 18 inches tall and just beginning to unfurl it’s fern leaves.
All in all, a pretty nice day!😎 That’s gonna be it for now. Keep on
