Cover Hive Music 1st Edition | Labios compartidos (minicover)
Hola chicos geniales, ¿cómo están? Me enteré del “Cover Hive Music” y me animé a traer una versión para la saga 😊.
Las canciones escogidas son muy bonitas, pero realmente la idea de personalizarlas a nuestro gusto me animó más. Ahora que lo menciono, esa canción de maná, “Labios compartidos”, es un hit mundial que todos conocemos y recordamos con aprecio, pero como a veces sucede, tanto escucharla en su momento hizo que ahora no me apetezca mucho xd; dicho eso, es una gran canción, así que la escogí para hacer una versión (al principio prefería que la comunidad hubiera seleccionado la canción de Julieta, sin embargo, todo fue para mejor, ha sido divertido versionar a “Labios”).
Como actualmente escucho muchos colores musicales derivados del indie, me dediqué a hacer algunos arreglos musicales para conseguir un sonido folk y aprovechar así la guitarra. También, hice varios arreglos a la letra para que hacer cambios más bruscos en la percepción; la letra adaptada me gustó mucho, me recuerda a Diego Lorenzini, estoy seguro que él cantaría mucho mejor esta versión 😊.
Grabé las tomas de guitarra y voz directamente a la PC, así que me toca sincronizar; sin embargo, no me fijé que los videos de guitarra se grabaron movidos ☹ es que estaban muy cerca del escritorio mientras sonaba el cronometro, nunca pensé que ese sonido movería tanto el teléfono ya que estaba en un soporte aparte. Ahora mismo estoy escribiendo mientras la batería de mi interfaz se recarga, ya voy a grabar la voz y espero con ansias hacer alguna segunda voz que seguro hará todo más divertido.

Hey everyone, how’s it going? I heard about “Cover Hive Music” and decided to jump in with a version for the series 😊.
The chosen songs are lovely, but the idea of putting our own spin on them is what really got me excited. Speaking of which, that Maná song, “Labios Compartidos,” is a global hit we all know and remember fondly; however—as sometimes happens—hearing it so much back in the day means I’m not exactly craving it now, haha. That said, it’s a great song, so I chose it for my cover (at first, I’d actually hoped the community would pick the Julieta song, but it all worked out for the best—covering “Labios” has been fun).
Since I’m currently into various indie-style sounds, I worked on some arrangements to create a folk vibe and really make the most of the guitar. I also tweaked the lyrics to shift the mood a bit; I really like the adapted version—it reminds me of Diego Lorenzini. I’m sure he’d sing this version way better than I do 😊.
I recorded the guitar and vocals straight to my PC, so I have to sync them up later. Unfortunately, I didn't notice that the guitar videos came out shaky ☹. The phone was too close to the desk while the metronome was ticking; I never imagined that sound would cause so much vibration, even though the phone was on a separate stand. I’m writing this while my interface battery recharges; I’m about to record the vocals, and I’m really looking forward to adding some harmonies—that’s sure to make it even more fun.
