I have been away from all social media for a while now due to a mix of weather storms, health and most important of all due to the fact that I went and plugged my old graphic tablet and oh the miracle it worked, after a few hiccups... It works with Gimp 2.10 but barely anything else, Krita will crash while loading if I have it plugged in and MyPaint will work sometimes, others not. Even Gimp 2.10 acts temperamental a few times.
I haven't used the tablet since 2008, when I switched from Windows to Ubuntu because Ubuntu refused to recognized it was plugged in. Now that I changed to Debian a lot of stuff works again, yay!
Oh the joy of it! Being able to draw accurately small details after painting with the mouse for so long! So is no wonder I have been immersed in it.
Haven't finished anything yet because I'm working in three pieces at the same time and they get more and more detailed. I got obsessed with drawing flowers to create some custom brushes for Gimp and it all started evolving into landscapes with strange figures.
So here is a simple raw fractal for your delight, as usually created with Sterling2, so you all know I'm still alive and breathing, while I finish my "rococo" Gimp pieces.
