Hola, mi querida comunidad de Hive Open Mic. Representa para mí un gran placer el saludarles y regresar a participar en la semana 174, después de cuatro meses sin poder hacerlo. Haciendo "malabarismos" como ustedes no tienen idea, el publicar se ha vuelto casi una carrera de obstáculos (literalmente hablando) ya que hay muchos cortes de luz elèctrica en el sector en que vivo y el internet con lentitud y... bueno, pare usted de contar. Pero me llamó mucho la atención esta temática de "faro de luz", propuesta por nuestra artista destacada: 
Hello, my dear Hive Open Mic community. It is a great pleasure for me to greet you and return to participate in week 174, after four months without being able to do so. Doing "juggling" as you have no idea, publishing has become almost an obstacle course (literally speaking) since there are many power outages in the area where I live and the internet is slow and... well, stop me to count, but this "beacon of light" theme caught my attention, proposed by our Spotlight Artist:
Este tema "Faro de Luz" es inspirador. Y elegí este canto donde no es un inmenso faro el que produce luz porque siendo su luz mínima es mucha la oscuridad que él puede hacer desaparecer y eso es como un llamado de atención a nosotros mismos ya que si cada uno nos damos la tarea de ser pequeñas luces para iluminar nuestro entorno con amor que se traduce en armonía, alegría, tolerancia, solidaridad... no habrá más oscuridad. Cada rayo de luz es importante. Cada día podemos brillar o no, es nuestra la elección. Elijamos brillar como ese pequeño cocuyo y lograremos iluminar "toda la montaña"
This "Lighthouse" "beacon of light" theme is inspiring. And I chose this song where it is not an immense lighthouse that produces light because, being its minimal light, there is a lot of darkness that it can make disappear and that is like a call to attention to ourselves, since if each one of us gives ourselves the task of being small lights to illuminate our environment with love that translates into harmony, joy, tolerance, solidarity... there will be no more darkness. Every ray of light is important. Every day we can shine or not, it is our choice. Let's choose to shine like that little cocuyo and we will be able to illuminate "the whole mountain"
Esta canción fue originalmente interpretada por la agrupación "Un Sólo Pueblo", grupo que recorrió nuestro país recopìlando temas de nuestra música folclórica de la zona costera del país, y dándole mayor difusión en su momento mediante la grabación de los discos de acetato. Con gran calidad artística y carisma personal pronto se colocaron en un lugar predominante en el favoritismo del público venezolano y también tuvieron presencia más allá de nuestras fronteras.
This song was originally performed by the group "Un Sólo Pueblo" (One People), a group that toured our country collecting songs from our folk music from the country's coastal zone, and giving it greater diffusion at the time through the recording of acetate discs.
