The last few videos I have talked a lot about the evolution of money, what is money, and what makes good money. If you have made it this far in the playlist, you are probably starting to become curious about how bitcoin achieves the properties which I have discussed.
In this video, I give a high-level overview of how bitcoin works. This video is not comprehensive or exhaustive. Bitcoin is a complex system, and the properly explain all of its mechanics would take much more time than anyone would be willing to spend watching a video.
My goal with this video is to explain the technical aspects of bitcoin sufficiently enough that my mother or grandma would be able to understand how bitcoin works under the hood, and how it achieves the properties of censorship resistance, un-cofiscatability, permissionless-ness, and fixed supply.
