Today my husband @alenox visited the exhibition dedicated to the great Russian artist Chagall at Palazzo Albergati in Bologna. Entitled ***Dream and Magic*** within the exhibition 160 works of art are exhibited that illustrate the original poetic language of Marc Chagall (1887-1985) through the common thread of his poetic and magical sensitivity. CHAGALL was a very long-lived painter, who died at the age of 98 and lived through the most turbulent period in the history of humanity during the Second World War: the deportation of Jews. My husband and I took the audio guide that, through the narrative voice of his daughter, explained the relationship that the artist had with art, life, his wife, and the political situation. I fell in love with CHAGALL exactly in 1997 during a trip ***on the road*** in Provence with some friends, we were 7 and we were very young, between trains and hitchhiking we visited many places including also the exhibitions we met along the way. During one of these exhibitions I came across some paintings by CHAGALL that I knew absolutely nothing about at the time.

Oggi io e mio marito @alenox abbiamo visitato la mostra dedicata al grande artista russo Chagall a Palazzo Albergati a Bologna. Intitolata ***Sogno e Magia*** all’interno della mostra sono esposte 160 opere d'arte che illustrano il linguaggio poetico originale di Marc Chagall (1887-1985) attraverso il filo conduttore della sua sensibilità poetica e magica. CHAGALL è stato un pittore molto longevo, deceduto all’età di 98 anni ed ha vissuto il periodo più turbolento della storia dell’umanità durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale: la deportazione degli ebrei. Io e mio marito abbiamo preso l’audioguida che, attraverso la voce narrante della figlia, ci ha spiegato il rapporto che l’artista avesse con l’arte, la vita, la moglie, e la situazione politica. Mi sono innamorata 🥰 di CHAGALL esattamente nel 1997 durante un viaggio ***on The road*** in Provenza con alcuni amici, eravamo in 7 ed eravamo giovanissimi, tra treni ed autostop abbiamo visitato molti luoghi tra cui anche delle mostre che abbiamo incontrato lungo il percorso. Durante una di queste mostre mi imbattei in alcuni quadri di CHAGALL di cui non sapevo assolutamente niente all’epoca.

Il gallo rappresenta la creatività.

The royal world of CHAGALL meets the fairytale world of La Fontaine, in turn inspired by the tales of the Greek author Aesop, who had introduced a moral at the end of the story. Recall that the ***fable*** as a literary genre has animals as protagonists differently from the ***fairy tales*** which have people as protagonists.

ITA🇮🇹Il mondò reale di CHAGALL si incontra con quello favolistico di La Fontaine, a sua volta ispirato alle favole di Esopo autore greco, il quale aveva introdotto alla fine del racconto una morale. Ricordiamo che la ***favola*** come genere letterario ha come protagonisti gli animali differentemente dalle ***fiabe*** che hanno come protagonisti le persone.

As I was saying at the beginning of my story, when I saw some paintings by CHAGALL I was struck, in addition to the oneiric, metaphysical and surreal aspect, by the color *** cobalt blue *** a particular intense color, which sometimes lightens, at creating a dream, in shades of blue, I literally go crazy when I have the opportunity to observe how it manages to achieve this effect ... magic of pictorial poetry.

Come stavo dicendo all’inizio del mio racconto, quando vidi alcuni quadri di CHAGALL rimasi folgorata, oltre dall’aspetto onirico, metafisico e surreale, dal colore ***blu cobalto*** un colore particolare intenso, che talvolta si schiarisce, a creare un sogno, nelle sfumature dell’azzurro, io letteralmente vado fuori di testa quando ho l’occasione di poter osservare come riesca ad ottenere questo effetto...magia della poesia pittorica.

The visit ended with an experimental moment that brings you, with a play of mirrors and light, all within CHAGALL's paintings. The world of dreams and magic takes shape and thanks to the music We, dumb spectators, remain to observe with the upturned nose trying to understand in the least what could have felt the love while creating ... but we will never know, we just observe ourselves as enthusiastic children who see Something for the first time! Nice show ... Nice CHAGALL!

ITA 🇮🇹La visita si è conclusa con un momento esperenziale che ti porta, con un gioco di specchi e di luce, all’interno dei quadri di CHAGALL. Il mondo dei sogni e della magia prende forma e grazie alla musica si animano e prendono vita. Noi, spettatori muti, restiamo ad osservare con il naso all’insù cercando di carpire minimamente ciò che abbia potuto sentire l’artista mentre creava...ma non lo sapremo mai, ci limitiamo ad osservare come bambini entusiasti che vedono per la prima volta qualcosa! Bella mostra...Bello CHAGALL!
