Hi :)

Today I would like to share a part of our trip in Calella, where I was with my boyfriend. We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay, so that is my today's inspiration for this post.

First of all, Calella is a very beautiful city, located on the Costa del Maresme, surrounded by the Mediterranean sea and mountains. It is around 50 km away from Barcelona, so it is a great opportunity to also visit Barcelona, if you are already on a vacation in Calella.

What we liked the most were the wide beaches and the quietness that allows you to enjoy the sound of the waves...

One of the amazing beach bars... :)

It is also very relaxing to walk on the promenade street, alongside the beach, under the palms and the trees with thick shade, where many of the locals and the tourists were jogging or doing workouts.

The town was big enough to offer a diversity of restaurants, cafes, tapas, taverns, leather and souvenir stores. We enjoyed the local spirit while we were walking on Calella's streets and squares. They are surrounded by the old building architecture, where you can very often enjoy some concerts or performances. The locals were very friendly and polite, so they made our trip complete! :)

A part of the architecture...

The town of Calella by night... Tourists and locals enjoying the ambiance, including the perfect wind, the good music, the Sangria (most of the time :)) or their great beers.

So, this is my short story of our wonderful time we spent there... :) But only the first part of the trip, the second one I will share with the next post, otherwise, this one will be very long :)

Thanks for reading!

Have a nice day! :) ♥
