Have you ever gained or lost something or someone because of a habit (good or bad) of yours? No fictional writing, this must be a true story. Remember to use your own photos.

I do not have many friends, I rarely make friends, not because I can not but because I am a close-off person and prefer to be alone, and love my privacy. I could play with everyone around me but do not keep a close or private friend because I avoid troubles and unnecessary quarrels or issues that may arise as a result of being friends with others.

When I started school last year, as a fresher, the deal was to make friends with people especially my level, so as not to be left out in the course of being alone, well, after much force from my bestie to try and mingle, since she was already in the system and knows how it works, I decided to mingle with people.

There I got to know four girls and we became close, we were so close and I ordinarily would go to any length for them, because I didn't see any need to be competing because of score or anything. I would stand in for them if any day they couldn't make it to class, always remind them ahead of any important information, and do a few of their assignments if the occasion arose. All of a sudden, one of the girls stopped talking and walking with us.

I didn't know what the issue was and when I did ask her, she said it was nothing, so, I decided not to force her to say anything to her.

A few days before our exam, a friend sent me a screenshot message from her, according to her, she said the said friend of ours said that I was the reason why she stopped walking with the rest of them because I was always interfering with her privacy and always felt like I knew it all.

I felt hurt and also regretted ever involving myself in her personal life, well as friends, I thought it was right to let your friends know when he or she is going astray or does wrong but I thought wrong, since I was asked not to ask her, what I did and maybe apologize so we could go back to being normal, we became strangers in a twinkle of an eye.
