Men always say that they cannot understand us, that we are way more complicated creatures or at least that we tend to think in a more complicated way.. I don't know whether that's true or not. What I know is that there is a problem for sure...
To be honest even WE cannot communicate properly with each other. Mutual understanding between complicated creatures (aka women) is not part of the equation.
Yesterday I accompanied a friend to shopping.. Well, the weather was fine, I had finished all my work so I was free to follow her. She wanted a pair of shoes so badly so we were supposed to go to the shop, see if they were available, get them and go for some coffee afterwards. HA HA. It wasn't as easy as I thought...
We went there, they had the shoes, she almost kissed the guy from her excitement, she wore them on and one million second thoughts suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Darling, we came here cause you couldn't live without them, those shoes were the shoes of your dreams and now you DON'T KNOW??
Out of the blue, the damn shoes were too expensive, too much and a bit ugly. (They were in fact the ugliest trainers I have ever seen in my life). She has been talking about them since summer and yesterday, 7th of December (5 months later), when she finally took the decision to get them, she seemed to have second thoughts...
We stayed there for HALF AN HOUR, discussing and analysing whether it was right or wrong to buy them... I'm sure that the designer needed less time to create them. Within some minutes excitement, satisfaction and happiness turned into guilt, uncertainty and misery. WTF?
We needed to leave the shop for another half an hour cause she wanted to think about it again, get some fresh air and smoke a cigarette (to counteract the fresh air)... Long story short, after making a huge effort to force her take a decision, we got back in and she finally bought the bloody shoes! Utterly excited again about her purchase.
What can I say? We are crazy. I don't blame men for blaming us...
