Hello dear Hive Community, first of all I would like to welcome you to my contribution and hope you are all well and your day was full of positive experiences! In my new post, I would like to talk about art and hope you can learn something new.
Here you can see a fabulous painting depicting a lake and a lonely boat swims in the water and in addition you can see the Alps in the background. You don't even know if you should first start with the intense coloring, the exposure or the attention to detail with which the German artist Gustav Adolf van Hees (1862 - 1927) worked to create this work and the fact is that it is an absolute masterpiece. Van Hees devoted himself mainly to the painting of still lifes and later he developed a great passion for marine painting and he was also known for making some illustrations and he also made some illustrations for election posters and he exhibited his paintings mainly in Germany. He studied at the Academy of Art in Munich and during his studies he made some trips to other countries, which probably shaped his horizon and in this painting his passion, which he had developed for marine painting, probably comes to light very well and marine painting developed as early as the 16th century and was especially widespread in the 17th century in the Netherlands and in the future I will probably go into more detail in one of my contributions.
Thanks a lot for stopping by and I hope you can learn something new about art! I used my iPhone 12 to take these pictures.
