Good day dear Hive friends, welcome to my new post and I hope you have a great weekend with amazing experiences! Yesterday I already presented pictures of the sunset and in this post I would like to share some of the sunrise with you.
This morning I took the opportunity and visited a lake to photograph the dawn and was definitely not disappointed. Sunrises like these just seem very mystical and create a great mood and the colors came out particularly well this morning and the reflections of the dawn in the water are also a good addition and give the pictures additional elegance. I would also like to go into symbolism and mythology and hope you can learn something new!
As a transition between day and night, similar to sunsets, the sunrises are also symbolically associated with flowing transitions and stand for hope and optimism. Symbolically, the dawn can also be associated with youth and joy and from a spiritual point of view it is a way to feel closer to the source and the universe and can help to find a spiritual balance in addition to the great atmosphere created by sunrises.
In Greek mythology, light was mostly associated with the divine, such as the goddess Eos which, according to legends, appears from the ocean to announce the day. She is also often depicted with wings and often had vessels in her hand which were filled with sparks that lighted up the twilight. Eos is the sister of Helios who was also worshiped as the sun god and he followed her after Eos had started the day with his typical sun chariot.
