Hey dear Hiveans, as always, I would like to welcome you first to my new post and hope you are all well! Today I would like to bring you closer to an interesting topic and hope you can expand your knowledge.
Here are some pictures that I created with the help of artificial intelligence and are supposed to represent the end-time legend ragnarok from Norse mythology, which is also called the downfall of the world. Ragnarok is also called the battle between gods and the giants and before the start of this apocalyptic event three roosters have tried to warn and the rooster Fjalar warned the giants, a second named Gullinkambi visited the gods to warn them and the third rooster was to warn the dead in Helheim. Even before Ragnarok, the world was overwhelmed by many crises which changed the morale of the people like long winters without the sun as well as missed summer which have led to many problems and conflicts in the infrastructure and destroyed the mood of the people. There was a lot of chaos and a three-year war and throughout Asgard and Midgard and many disasters broke out and accelerated the downfall of the world.
The Fenris wolf who was once captured by the gods, broke out of his chains and began to devour the universe and the twin wolves Skoll and Hati were also hunting the sun and the moon for a long time and during Ragnarok they were successful and manage to put humanity into darkness. Hati followed the chariot of the moon god Mani while Skoll followed the chariot of Sol and while ragnarok they catch up with them and the moon dog Managarm will then devour the moon and the blood of the moon will then darken the sun. The Midgard snake will also intervene in the battle and pollute the people with its poison and additionally cause chaos such as floods and other crises that continue to devastate the world. Even the big tree Yggdrasil, which in Norse mythology keep the worlds together, were destroyed and then this event causes earthquakes which had the power that even whole mountains collapse. While the battle, pretty much all warriors die and also the gods fought to their end and at the end of ragnarok, the remaining things were also destroyed by a huge fire. At the end of this legend, a new world will rise from the sea in which a new human gender will be conceived and a new galaxy will be created and everything starts all over again.
Thanks for taking the time to read through my post and I hope you like it and can learn something new about Mythology!
