Japanese Anemone can be seen here, which convinces with its delicate flowers and is also known under the scientific name Anemone Hupehensis. It is generally considered a very easy-care and robust plant, which is very adaptable and also very valuable from an ecological point of view and a great source of food for various insects. It thrives best in semi-shaded or a sunny place and it is important to note that the substrate should not be too dry or too moist.
From a symbolic point of view, it is also associated with the planet Mars as well as the zodiac signs Scorpio and Aries and is also often seen as a sign of positivity, hope and optimism. In Greek mythology there is an interesting legend that is related to the history of origin and according to the legend, the wind god Zephyr fell in love with the nymph Anemone who is known as the companion of the goddess of spring and flowers flora. His wife Flora didn't like it at all and then turned her into a flower.
In another legend, the god of the underworld Hades fell in love with Persephone and kidnapped her to the underworld. The mother of Persephone Demeter became very sad and then searched the whole world for her daughter and found a field full of anemones at the place where she was brought to the underworld.
