A cypress can grow up to 30 meters high and if it is in the right location it is extremely easy to maintain and is also a great choice from an ecological point of view and offers birds a great habitat and it fits well into landscapes due to the appearance and in addition it can keep insects away in the place where it grows. Many painters have used cypresses as a motif and it is probably particularly interesting for landscape paintings and has influenced many artists like Vincent van Gogh. It is also of great importance as a medicinal plant and has been used for hundreds of years against various types of diseases such as colds, fever, skin diseases or more and it has antibacterial properties and can help against viruses and also has antioxidant and soothing properties. The medicinal effects can be on essential oils, flavonoids or tannins and it is usually used in the form of tea or in aromatherapy and it is also ideal for the extraction of oils.
