Some insects I've only encountered once, and sometimes I haven't even been able to photograph them. For example, I've seen damselflies and tiny, completely blue butterflies that disappear in the blink of an eye.

Its scientific name is Palpita flegia, it measures about 4 centimeters in wingspan and inhabits areas from the southern United States to South America.

It belongs to the Crambidae family and its larvae feed on a toxic plant called Yellow Oleander (Thevetia peruvians).
Pertenece a la familia Crambidae y sus larvas se alimentan de una planta tóxica llamada Adelfa amarilla (Thevetia peruvians).
Some members of this family can become agricultural pests, others are used as biological control against invasive plants.
Algunos miembros de esta familia pueden convertirse en plagas agrícolas, otros son usados como control biológico contra plantas invasoras.
