Black Elderberry.
There’s a huge elderberry tree growing not far from my house. It fits right in there—it’s great that they planted it there. The tree provides shade, and it’s really nice to sit on a bench under it on a hot day. It’s a good spot to get out of the direct sunlight.
Our country has many different kinds of trees, as well as many forests and parks.
I love it when a city has a variety of plants and trees. It makes the city greener and more lively. I don’t like cities where there are only high-rise buildings and no space for nature.
I love lakes, forests, fields, parks, and other natural areas.
Elderberries are very good for your health. You can dry the berries, and they retain their properties for about three years.
It’ll be time to harvest the berries very soon. The berries should be ripe and black. You can dry them outdoors by laying them out in direct sunlight. The berries themselves are slightly tart and sweet.
