Did I say the wrong thing?
I don't know how far
My foot
Went in
My mouth
But I can no longer see
My right or left knee
Please, please
Stop me
Before I
Make this any worse
Now that it's out there
It's clear
No one should say
What I've just said
Yet back when
It was still in my head
It was such a harmless thing
Like a tiny butterfly
Now it's a great big dragon
And it's breathing fire
And I
Wish I could unsay it
Undo it
Instead
I breathe through it
It's all I can do
Until I make it up
To you

I think most people who have anxiety can relate to that sinking feeling you get sometimes when you say something that might hurt someone and don't realize until it's already been said. Obsessing over it doesn't help but knowing that doesn't necessarily make it easier to let go. That comes with time, patience, self awareness and self acceptance.

Peace ☮️.
