The cubicle was smaller. It had to be! Surely the walls weren't this close together before the pandemic? And were there always this many people milling around the office looking miserable? Even her clothes felt tighter, stiffer and generally less comfortable but had they always been this way?
Elise knew better than to waste mental resources on those types of questions. She settled into her chair, put something convincingly work-like on her screen and drifted away in her mind to where the 9th season of Game of Thrones was playing out quite nicely. Who said work couldn't be fun?
