In every programming language I have used there has always been the option of using mathematical functions to process variables, sometimes a simple mathematical operation can save us from having to write

In the previous article we learned how to configure and use an Express SubVI, we selected the signal simulator for convenience because it is very necessary for our field of electronic engineering and systems

LabView software offers pre-designed SubVIs with special functions that can make it much easier for us to create our programs. These are called Express SubVI and have built-in functions for many engineering

When we talk about errors in LabView we can find two kinds, the errors that we can make as designers and the errors that can occur by non-compliance of conditions during the execution of the program. In

Now that we have learned how to use SubVI we are almost ready to face bigger and more complex projects, and I say almost ready because we still need to fine tune some details. Thinking about it I think

Often we use the same code fragment for different programs, it can be useful to save the fragment in a text file and simply copy and paste it where it is needed instead of writing it each time. When you

It is curious that when we design a project there are always different ways to develop it to obtain the same result, however, although both designs can perform the same function, one will always be more

The control of lights or outputs is usually done in an automated way, as we have done previously with different discrete outputs we program the sequence or conditions by which the outputs will take actions.

Believe it or not, I have been trying to write this article for almost a week, not because of lack of time to develop it but because of problems with the simulators. It seems that the simulators I usually

So far all the circuits that we have simulated in our more than one hundred articles dedicated to this blog, have been made without frequency considerations except in the use of crystals for the oscillation

AM modulation was a great innovation at the time (when there are no alternatives what exists is the best), if you are as old or older than me or have had the opportunity to listen to an AM radio station

Let's start with the simplest modulation of all, which is amplitude modulation or (AM), this is to vary the amplitude of a wave in proportion to the amplitude of the signal that has the information. Then

If you have missed me I have missed you too, sometimes I focus on a project and it absorbs me a lot of time, so much that I can hardly do other activities, but I'm back with all of you to continue building

Life is a sequential process, events always occur in an order, to be parents you must first beget and before that there are many other events that must occur, for safety sometimes some events must occur

Custom works are usually more appreciated because they add extra value to what is created, firstly they allow to establish differences between two designs that perform the same function opening the possibility

When I look at the data handling structures in LabView I can really notice how complicated it could be to use for a programmer who only knows programming languages by code with no previous experience or

I never thought I would have to write a whole article to explain the use of the While structure, so far we have used it in every program we have created in C and if I had to explain how it works in C it

After having studied such an old gadget as the SCR I thought it would be interesting to find a way to control it using a microcontroller to see how much we can improve its performance. This is one of those

At this point it has already been demonstrated indisputably the capabilities of microcontrollers to design almost any control system, however and as has been expressed in previous articles, it would be

We have finally reached the final chapter of our "Monitoring" series and every final chapter usually has some excitement and suspense so this one took this part very seriously and has given me
