Last night Las Vegas, Nevada experienced a once-a-year traditional firework show that rocked the whole valley. Elder-Son stayed home during this event. Three hundred thousand people showed up to celebrate, which means the risk of being sick twice this winter season was high. This new omicron variant could have been crowd surfing last night; who knows? The fears of Covid are decreasing but having a keen knowledge of how people act when they do believe it's the end of the world is enough motivation to protect my family this holiday season.
That's not to say we didn't wish everyone a fun and safe New Year. It seems like, for the most part, besides a couple of robberies/shootings, everyone had a great time.
