In the past three days and nights, my wife and I have explored the Lugna and Long Beach areas in California. This is my first planned vacation; we had a lot of fun. The first hotel-Pacific Edge was terrible, but the coast was amazing. Seeing the vast oceans made me think of how much of our own planet is unexplored. My uncle always has mentioned this fact, but now I feel it! When it comes to eating, restaurants were pricey of course, however extremely worth it. The first night we ate at GGs Bistro. Their pasta and sea food ravioli was an awesome start to our adventure. The second day our car needed repairs though. After that minor setback, we spent time exploring local shops then went on Lugna beach again. Finally, eating at the 'Deck', which was connected to the hotel, was the perfect ending to the night.
Originally, there wasn't going to be a day three, but we voted against that and resurved an outstanding room at Renaissance Long Beach. Before checking in we caught a sweet boat tour and gazed upon a bunch of cool things like sea-dogs, cargo ships, man-made water structures, and more.
We will be residents of the Renaissance again during our next time visiting Long Beach. It was a lovely stay and this one we strongly suggest. Expensive yes, but soooo worth it.
Our view from the hotel was immaculate. All & all we had a wonderful stay. Now time to get back on my school, music, and secret projects grind.
