Hello Splinters Fanatics!

Splinterlands is an amazing Card Game, in case you've fallen here by chance, this is the best #Play2earn there is. And this post is a weekly event held to spread the word about the @splinterlands universe on social media.

This week's Battle Mage Secrets is about the Even Stevens Ruleset. This ruleset restricts the number of monsters a player can scale in a battle roughly in half, for those with a large card collection this is not a problem. However, for those who have a deck with few card options, this can become a problem.

There are really no tricks to this rule set, just have an idea of the mana points in the available Splinters. This rule also helps to predict what the opponent will use, as the amount of cards is reduced. In reality this is a rule that benefits bots more than a real player.

Below are some statistics by Mana and Splinters. This data was taken from the site InTeleria with the help of excel. Note that in total there are 240 cards available for those who have a complete collection, for those who have an extensive or complete collection this rule will not be a problem.

In the spreadsheet below you can see that the amount of cards per mana follows a pattern well known in the world of probability, the normal distribution (Gaussian). In reality every card game follows this same pattern, the mana theory, where the largest amount of cards used in the game is concentrated in the central region, in the case of Splinterlands are cards with [4], [6] and [8] mana, and the cards of low mana and high mana are in smaller quantity.

And in relation to the Splinters, the Even mana cards are distributed almost evenly, with the exception of the Dagron Splinter that has a smaller amount of cards, but this Splinter can choose another Splinter and in the end the amount of cards with even mana is greater in the Dagron Splinter.

The mage secret of the ruleset for Even Stevens is to have as many cards in your collection as possible, otherwise you will have trouble putting together a good strategy for lack of options.

The battle took place in Gold League, in Wild mode, and featured the following Ruleset: Are You Not Entertained , Even Stevens and Close Ranged , plus 22 mana and the available Splinter of Life and Earth . Only one Splinter available and with this restrictive rule set the one with the best card collection wins.

As the battle allowed using cards from the Gladius edition and the Earth Splinter was available, I considered using the powerful Quora Towershed, but the low mana led me to use the Water Splinter with cards focused on Magic damage and the summoner Alric Stormbringer, which increases magic damage by (+1). My opponent also used Water Splinter, but with summoner Kelya Frendul.

Below is our lineup strategy:

	In the first position, I have scaled Baakjira as the main tank, because despite not having any attack, it is an incredible wall that gives the opponent a lot of headaches with its Health and its Heal ability.
	In the second position I climbed Torrent Fiend, a monster to serve as a distraction and protection for our rearguard from attacks Opportunity or Blast. .
	In the third position was climbed Furious Chicken also with the same objective as Torrent Fiend, after all they are cards with null mana.
	Soon after, I scaled Ice Pixie a magic damage and low mana card, which matches its low magic attack and health.
	Next, I scaled Ruler Of the Seas a card with powerful magic attack and Blast ability .
	And at the end I climbed Doctor Blight, the plague itself, which has a magic attack and the abilities Poison, Camouflage, Scavenger, and Affliction.

The battle is initiated and Buffs and Debuffs are applied. Our team has its magic damage amplified, while the opposing team has its magic damage reduced due to Ruler Of the Seas and its Silence ability. This way, the opponent's magic damage will have a very hard time getting through our powerful barrier, Baakjira.

Thus, the opponent's main tank, Djinn Oshannus could not resist our team's attacks. Giving an advantage to our team that still has all monsters on the field.

At the end of the battle, our strategy proved effective and victory was achieved. You couldn't even defeat Baakjira, think of a card I hate when I have to face it.

The Even Stevens rule set is a restrictive rule and there is no secret or strategy that we can apply when this rule is in play. For players who have a small card collection the ideal is to mentalize which Splinters have the best cards to play in this situation.

O Segredo dos Mago de Batalha dessa semana é sobre o Ruleset Even Stevens . Esta conjunto de regras restringe o número de monstros que um jogador pode escalar em uma batalha aproximadamente pela metade, para quem tem uma grande coleção de cartas isto não é um problema. Porém, para quem tem um baralho com poucas opções de cartas, isto pode se torna um problema.

Na realidade não há truques para este conjunto de regras, apenas ter uma ideia dos pontos de mana nos Splinters disponíveis. Essa regra também ajudar a prever o que o oponente irá utilizar, pois a quantidade de cartas é reduzida. Na realidade esta é uma regra que beneficia mais os bots do que um jogador real.

Observe que ao todo existem 240 cartas disponíveis para aqueles que possuem um coleção completa, para aqueles que tem uma coleção extensa ou completa essa regra não será um problema.

Na planilha abaixo é possível observar que a quantidade de cartas por mana segue um padrão bastante conhecido no mundo da probabilidade, a distribuição normal (Glaussina). Na realidade todo card game segue este mesmo padrão, a teoria da mana, onde a maior quantidade de cartas utilizadas no jogo esta concentrada na região central, no caso de Splinterlands são cartas com [4] , [6] e [8] de mana, e as cartas de baixa mana e altissima mana estão em menor quantidade.

E em relação aos Splinters, as cartas de mana Even são distribuidas de forma quase uniforme, com excessão do Splinter de Dagrão que possuem uma quantidade menor de cartas, porém esse Splinter pode escolher outro Splinter e no final das contas a quantidade de cartas com mana par é maior no Splinter de dagrão.

O segredo de mago do conjunto de regras para Even Stevens é possui o maior número possível de cartas em sua coleção, caso contrário terá dificuldade em montar um boa estratégia por falta de opções.

A batalha aconteceu na Liga Gold, no modo Wild, e contou com o seguinte Conjunto de Regras: Are You Not Entertained , Even Stevens e Close Ranged , além de 22 de mana e os Splinter de Vida e Terra disponíveis. Apenas um Splinter disponível e com esse conjunto de regra restritivo ganha aquele que tem a melhor coleção de cartas.

Como a batalha permitia utilizar cartas da edição Gladius e o Splinter de Terra estava disponível ainda cogitei em utilizar a poderosa Quora Towershed, porém a baixa mana me induziu a utilizar o Splinter de água com cartas focadas em dano Mágico e o Invocador Alric Stormbringer, que aumenta em (+1) dano mágico. Meu adversário também utilizou o Splinter de Água, porém com o invocador Kelya Frendul.

Abaixo segue nossa estratégia de escalação:

	Na primeira posição, escalei Baakjira como tanque principal, pois a pesar de não possui nenhum ataque é um incrível paredão que dar muita dor de cabeça ao oponente com sua Saúde e sua habilidade Heal .
	Na segunda posição escalei Torrent Fiend, um monstro para servir como distração e proteção para nossa retarguarda de ataques Opportunity ou Blast .
	Na terceira posição foi escalado Furious Chicken também com o mesmo objetivo que Torrent Fiend, afinal são carta com mana nula.
	Logo após, escalei Ice Pixie uma carta de dano mágico e baixa mana, que condiz com seu baixo ataque mágico e saúde.
	Em seguida, escalei Ruler Of the Seas uma carta com ataque mágico poderoso e habilidade Blast .
	E ao final escalei Doctor Blight, a praga em pessoa, que possui ataque mágico e as habilidade Poison, Clamouflage, Scavenger e Affliction.

A batalha é iniciada e os Buffs e Debuffs são aplicados. Nosso time teve seu dano mágico amplificado, enquanto o time adversário teve seu dano mágico reduzido devido a Ruler Of the Seas e sua habilidade Silence
. Dessa forma, o dano mágico do oponente terá muita dificuldade em atravessar nossa poderosa barreira, Baakjira.

Dessa forma, o tanque principal do oponente, Djinn Oshannus não resitiu aos ataques de nosso time. Abrindo vantagem para nosso time que ainda possui todos os monstros em campo.

Ao final da batalha, nossa estratégia se mostrou eficaz e a vitória foi alcançada. Não conseguiu nem derrotar Baakjira, pense em uma carta que odeio quando tenho que enfrentá-la.

O conjunto de regra Even Stevens é um regra restritiva e não existe um segredo ou estratégia que possamos aplicar quando esta regra esta em campo. Para os jogadores que possuem uma pequena coleção de carta o ideal é mentalizar quais os Splinters possuem as melhores cartas para jogar nessa situação.
