Hello Splinters Fanatics!

Splinterlands is an amazing Card Game, in case you've fallen here by chance, this is the best #Play2earn there is. And this post is a weekly event held to spread the word about the @splinterlands universe on social media.

This week's Battle Mage Secrets is about the Ruleset Equalizer , but unfortunately I spent all my energy of the day and this ruleset didn't come 😥. As my next days will be busy and I will barely have time to play and produce content I decided to make a post of a battle in which I used an interesting strategy to win, that I had never used before. I hope you enjoy it!

At the start of each battle the Rulesets are displayed, both players see which Rulesets are available and build their strategies, based on this and the recent match history of the opposing player.

These are the main triggers for putting together a winning strategy. In today's post we will show you how to counter the Ruleset Holy Protection .

Holy Protection
All monsters get the Divine Shield ability , where the first damage received is ignored.

This ruleset is an additional protection to all monsters ignoring any first attacks, i.e. it is superior to Armor where magical damage directly hits Health . However, this protection does not negate negative effects, such as Poison granted by the Ruleset Noxius Fumes .

A Summoner that grants all monsters the Divine Shield ability is Lorna Shine, a rare Summoner from the Dice Mini Edition. For granting this ability it has good win stats and therefore its rent is mostly high compared to other similar rare Summoners with similar ability, which is the case of Tyrus Paladium.

However, one way to counter the opponent when Holy Protection is present in the Rulesets or the opponent chooses Lorna Shine as a summoner is to choose some monster with the Redemption ability. I have been playing Splinterlands for a long time and didn't know that this ability destroys all Holy Protection of the enemy team.

The Redemption ability deals 1 damage to all enemy monsters when a monster with this skill dies. Currently, there are 15 cards that have this ability, usually these monsters have low health , but there are exceptions.

To put into practice the secrets revealed so far, nothing better than a battle containing the Holy Protection Rule Set .

The battle took place in Gold League, in Wild mode, and featured the following Ruleset: LITTLE LEAGUE , UP CLOSE & PERSONAL and HOLY PROTECTION . With the Splinter of Fire and Earth , plus 27 mana available.

Since the battle only allowed monsters with Melee damage the Fire Splinter was the most obvious choice. For, the Earth Splinter has many units focused on Magic damage . In addition, the Tarsa Summoner grants (+1) damage Melee and Health. So, the result would be no different both players chose this Splinter and this Summoner.

Below is our lineup strategy:

CARD	STRATEGY
	In the first position, I've scaled XENITH MONK as the main tank, as I consider it to be one of the best tanks for the Little League due to its reasonable health and its Heal ability .
	In the second position I climbed the secondary tank, ANTOID PLATOON, it doesn't have much health and Armorale , however it does have the skill Scavenger which increases its health with each monster killed in battle, as well as the ability Shield , which reduces Melee damage by half. While, XENITH MONK does not die this card will accumulate Health, as monsters die.
	PARASITIC GROWTH is a monster with low health, but it has one of the best abilities in the game, Opportunity , which attacks monsters with lower Health..
	Soon after, I climbed SERPENTINE SPY, another monster with the Opportunity ability to support PARASITIC GROWTH.
	Next, I climbed URAEUS that has the abilities Sneak and Poison.
	And at the end I purposely climbed EXPLODING RATS, which has the ability Redemption waiting to be attacked by monsters with the skill Sneak or Opportunity .

The battle is started and all monsters have the Divine Shield ability , but quickly EXPLODING RATS is defeated and his Redemption ability is enabled making all enemy monsters lose their Divine Shield.

The loss of the Divine Shield ability () by all enemy monsters gave us a big advantage. For, our team will deal direct damage to the opponent, while enemy attacks will be wasted with our Divine Shield remaining intact.

It is also possible to observe that the opposing team had monsters with a higher level than ours. That's why I always say that Splinterlands is a card game and most of the time what counts is strategy and not brute force. Using the strategy of nullifying the Divine Shield was essential to guarantee the victory. While the opponent tried to nullify our Divine Shield, our team eliminated the enemy units one by one.

What could be different!

Using the splintertools tool we can visualize the victory statistics for certain line-up possibilities. If we were to replace EXPLODING RATS with a card that could attack from the last position, such as ELVEN CUTTHROAT, our statistic would drop from 10% to a 4% win rate.

Today's post revealed some battle mage secrets for the Holy Protection Rule Set . We saw that an extra layer of protection can make a total difference in the outcome of a battle. We also saw a way to nullify the opponent's extra protection and with those secrets I close this post.

Splinterlands é um incrível Card Game, caso você tenha caído aqui de paraquedas, este é o melhor #Play2earn que existe. E este post é um evento realizado semanalmente para divulgar o universo @splinterlands nas redes sociais.

O Segredo dos Mago de Batalha dessa semana é sobre o Ruleset Equalizer , mas infelizmente gastei todas as minhas energias do dia e este ruleset não veio 😥. Como meus próximos dias serão corridos e mal terei tempo para jogar e produzir conteúdo resolvi fazer um post de uma batalha em que utilizei uma estratégia interessante para vencer, que nunca tinha utilizado. Espero que gostem!

No inicio de cada batalha o Conjunto de Regras são mostrados, ambos os jogadores vêem quais são os Conjunto de Regras disponível e montam suas estratégias, em função disto e do histórico recente de partidas do jogador adversário.

Estes são os principais gatilhos para montagem de uma estratégia vencedora. No post de hoje vamos mostrar uma forma de counterar o Ruleset Holy Protection .

CLOSE RANGED
Todos os monstros recebem a habilidade Divine Shield , onde o primeiro dano recebido é ignorado.

Esse ruleset é uma proteção adicional a todos os monstros ignorando quaisquer primeiros ataques, ou seja, é superior a Armadura onde dano mágico atingi diretamente a Saúde . Porém, esta proteção não anula os efeitos negativos, como Poison concedido pela Ruleset Noxius Fumes .

Um Invocador que concede a todos os monstros a habilidade Divine Shield é Lorna Shine, uma Invocadora rara da Mini Edição Dice. Por conceder esta habilidade tem boas estatística de vitória e por isso seu aluguel na maioria das vezes é elevado, se comparado com outros invocadores raros semelhantes com habilidade semelhante, que o caso de Tyrus Paladium.

Porém, uma forma de counterar o oponente quando Holy Protection estiver presente nos Rulesets ou o oponente escolher Lorna Shine como invocadora é escolher algum monstro com a habilidade Redemption . Jogo Splinterlands a um bom tempo e não sabia que essa habilidade destroi todos os Holy Protection do time inimigo.

A habilidade Redemption causa 1 de dano a todos os monstros inimigos quando um monstro com essa habilidade morre. Atualmente, existem 15 cartas que possuem essa habilidade, geralmente estes monstros possuem pouca saúde , porém existem exceções.

Para colocar em prática os segredos revelados até agora, nada melhor que uma batalha contendo o Conjunto de Regra Holy Protection .

A batalha aconteceu na Liga Gold, no modo Wild, e contou com o seguinte Conjunto de Regras: LITTLE LEAGUE , UP CLOSE & PERSONAL e HOLY PROTECTION . Com os Splinter de Fogo e Terra , além de 27 de mana disponível.

Como a batalha só permitia monstros de dano Melee o Splinter de Fogo era a escolha mais óbvia. Pois, o Splinter de Terra possui muitas unidades focada em dano Mágico . Além disso, a Invocadora Tarsa concede (+1) de dano Melee e Saúde. Então, o resultado não seria diferente ambos os jogadores escolheram este Splinter e esta Invocadora.

Abaixo segue nossa estratégia de escalação:

CARD	STRATEGY
	Na primeira posição, escalei XENITH MONK como tanque principal, pois considero ser um dos melhores tanque para a Little League devido sua saúde razoável e sua habilidade Heal .
	Na segunda posição escalei o tanque secundário, ANTOID PLATOON, não possui muita saúde e Armadura , porém possui a habilidade Scavenger que aumenta sua saúde a cada monstro morto na batalha, além da habilidade Shield , que reduz o dano Melee pela metade. Enquanto, XENITH MONK não morre esta carta vai acumulando Saúde, a medida que os monstros morrem.
	Na terceira posição foi escalado PARASITIC GROWTH é um monstro com pouca saúde, porém possui uma das melhores habilidade do jogo, Opportunity , que ataca os monstros de menor Saúde.
	Logo após, escalei SERPENTINE SPY, outro monstro com a habilidade Opportunity para dar suporte a PARASITIC GROWTH.
	Em seguida, escalei URAEUS que possua as habilidades Sneak e Poison
	E ao final escalei de proposito EXPLODING RATS, que possui a habilidade Redemption esperando ser atacado por monstros com habilidade Sneak ou Opportunity .

Venha Conferir a Batalha!

A batalha é iniciada e todos os monstros possuem a habilidade Divine Shield , porém rapidamente EXPLODING RATS é derrotado e sua habilidade Redemption é habilitada fazendo todos os monstros inimigos perderem seu Divine Shield.

A perda da habilidade Divine Shield por todos os monstros inimigos nos deu uma grande vantagem. Pois, nosso time dará dano direto ao oponente, enquanto os ataques inimigos serão disperdiçados com o nosso Divine Shield, que permaneceu intacto.

Também é possível observar que o time adversário possuia monstros com nível superior aos nossos. Por isso, sempre afirmo que Splinterlands é um card game e na maioria das vezes o que conta é a estratégia e não a força bruta. Utilizar a estratégia de anular os Divine Shield foi essencial para garantir a vitória. Enquanto, o oponente tentava anular nosso Divine Shield nosso time eliminava as unidades inimigas uma a uma.

O que podia ser diferente!

Usando a ferramenta splintertools podemos visualizar as estatisticas de vitória para certas possibilidades de escalação. Caso substituíssemos EXPLODING RATS por uma carta que pudesse atacar da última posição, como ELVEN CUTTHROAT, nossa estatistica caira de 10% para 4% de taxa de vitória.

No post de hoje foram revelados alguns segredos dos magos de batalhas para o Conjunto de Regra Holy Protection . Vimos que uma camada de proteção extra pode fazer total diferença no resultado de uma batalha. Vimos também uma forma de anular a proteção extra do oponente e com esses segredos eu encerro este post.
