This is my entry for the #monomad challenge hosted and curated by monochromes@monochromes

These are the guards of the stingless bee gate to enter the hive, they are pretty small, but they look dangerous. Don't expect a sting from them when you approach, because as the name suggests they are pretty harmless as they don't have a sting device for their defense. But instead, as far as I know they have something a little bit different to detter the disturbance, especially human.

Propolis produced by Trigona sp. contains antioxidant flavonoid, various vitamins, minerals, and essential amino acid. Therefore, propolis would be beneficial for immunity booster supplement, healing accelerator and also cosmetics raw materials which accelerate cell-regeneration and delay aging process.. Can you imagine that this little guy can produce something that is so beneficial to human.

But yeah, taste-wise the honey that this bee produce is a little bit ticker that the usual honey bee, and also it is a little bit strong and also sometimes kind of sour. it is also recommended that you only drink it a little bit daily, part of the reason is because the honest from this bee is rather expensive. hahah

Anyway, back to the defensive mechanism that they have is that often time when they feel disturbed od the hive attack they will try to attack the eyes of the attacker, and also they mostly will try to enter your ear. I'm not sure how they find the ear hole, but I felt their attack when I was a naughty kid. Maybe it is because of the smell of my ear back then. hahah yuckkkkkk!!!
