If you think by the title that I will talk about the turtoise that could live both on land and water, you are wrong, because what I have now is an animal that lives on the leaf, usually will fall down when it feel threathened and is a pest for some farmers.
Today I will talk and share some photos of Turtoise Beetle or Aspidimorpha miliaris. Aspidimorpha miliaris is a widespread Asian species of beetles belonging to the family Chrysomelidae..
This is actually such a acute beetle with the outer body which resemble the shell of a tortoise. But as I said above that these guy are actually a pest for some farmer.
It become a pest bacause of how they eat on the leaf od the crops. They will feed on the soft part of the leaf which then caused some of those leaf will have holes, which ultimately will affecting the photosyntesis that is done by the plant, and ultimately will also affecting the production of the said crops.
